- they print the tag at check in but having your own is a good idea
- I bought mine from Boots - it was Neon so I could see the bag easier, plus I always put a ribbon on the bag too to see it easier.
- Don't shout, it's rude.
- DON'T SHOUT!!!! They are not obligatory but can be useful if your luggage goes missing.
- In addition to putting a label on the outside of your suitcases, you should always put another label on the INSIDE as well. This is so that your bags can easily be identified if they happen to get lost.
- Don't rely on the paper tags from the airline - get a sturdy weather resistant tag and write you info on it. Try to get something unique - if it gets lost, you want something to identify your bag from the hundreds of "black 22" rollerbag with the red ribbon attached to the handle" - get the picture? lol And yes place the same info on the inside of your luggage, including your flt #'s/dates of travel/airline/and contact info of destination (address & phone, etc.)
